Some tips for your kids to socialising in public after pandemic

This pandemic has brought many challenges for everyone, from being locked up in one house, not meeting friends, to some even going into depression and committing suicide. Every one of us has faced various challenges, but we all have tried to stand up again.

Children have not gone to school, and thus they lack that enthusiasm and have some fear in their minds. In addition, it will be challenging for the kids to socialize with their friends after this pandemic is over. Thus, here arises the need to teach kids about socialization.

Here are some tips for the students to socialize as the pandemic restrictions ease:

1. Talk to the children- Your child's everyday behavior while staying at home depends upon how much you keep the child engrossed. Ask them to share what they are feeling, if they are stressed or not, how happy they are to meet their friends again, etc.
2. Address their problems- If you wouldn't address their concerns, who will? Listen to them and give them a way to tackle the same. Share your views and tell me how you dealt with them—practice techniques like meditation with them to help them relieve their stress.
3. Try to become their friend- Start taking small steps like going to the park or inviting friends to your home. It will help them meet new people and understand how good and necessary it is to meet people and how nice it feels. Also, give them your example, play with them. Tell them why meeting and understanding new people is essential. Tell it to them through stories. Ask them what they like to do in their free time. Make them talk to their friends over a phone call.
4. Keep them updated- Along with all this, don't forget to tell them about the need of the situation and how important it is to take the required precautions. Teach them how to wear masks properly and abide by Covid precautions – they need to understand this as the situation still demands it. Ask and check on them if they are sanitizing their hands regularly. If not tell them, how to sanitize properly and explain them by showing.

Thus, one can follow all these tips for children of this era who didn't have a normal life. They have gone through that phase in their early life where there are doubts, confusion, and questions, and with a bit of effort, you can help them overcome it all.
