    We all have experienced that feeling when we have felt our hearts racing and felt butterflies in our stomachs because we had to speak at a public event.

    Whether you have to speak for your family members or a group of strangers, the nervousness which it brings is just as much. But, no matter how hard you try, life will put you in a situation where you'll have to address a group of people.

    And, though the task may seem threatening at first, it might give you the most memorable moments of your life. Public speaking events provide you with honor, respect and allow you to inspire people. It might be one of the best feelings you will ever experience.

    Few of such common situations when you have to speak in public include:

    1. Weddings: What can be a better occasion to express your heart out than the wedding of a loved one? Use this as an opportunity to express your genuine feelings towards the person getting married. If you are asked to raise a toast, then you are undoubtedly important to the one getting married. Since they chose you to grace the occasion, it is your responsibility to make their day even more special.
    2. Job Presentation: This is one public speaking occasion that you must be well aware of. The professional world asks for perfection. Therefore, you cannot appear unprepared for a job presentation. Presentations can be an excellent opportunity for you to exhibit your knowledge and excellence in your domain. Prepare your key points, coordinate with the digital presentation, look into the audience's eyes, and with that, your job is done.
    3. Party: Public Speaking doesn't have to be associated with seriousness always. Fun events like birthday parties, anniversary parties, bachelorettes, etc., can also call for a public speaking activity. If you are a close friend or relative to the organizers of the party, they might ask you to be the host for the night. From conducting the games to making a small speech, it can be anything. If you are well prepared, you will have nothing to worry about.
    4. Funerals: Funerals might be the last event that comes to your mind when we talk about public speaking events, but they are just as important. If you get a chance to write and recite the eulogy, you should consider yourself honored. It is the chance for you to acquaint the funeral attendees with the good deeds that the deceased did while they were still alive. With the associated pain, this might be the most challenging form of public speaking.
