    Expressing gratitude can be the most liberating feeling, but it is also one of the most challenging things for most people.

    This is because we humans are not used to express our affection towards our loved ones. As a result, we tend to step back when expressing gratitude because we never know what's the best way to do that.

    To help you with the same, here are 8 simple ways to express your gratitude:

    1. Be Kind With Your Words - Your words are the best way to express your gratitude to your friends and family. Being kind would cost you nothing but would convey your love and thankfulness to the other person. It might not be easy for you to express your gratitude in exact words, but being kind and generous will help you achieve the same purpose.
    2. Do Not Shy Away - Your body language always speaks louder than your words. Be energetic around the people who you are thankful for in your life. Greet them with affection, hug them warmly and let your enthusiasm speak for your gratitude.
    3. Listen ConsciouslyThis might not be the most popular way of saying thanks, but it works like magic. People are always seeking someone who can listen to them patiently. If you can be that someone for them, you show gratitude by acknowledging their ideas and opinions.
    4. Make PlansWhen you are grateful to someone for something, include them in your plans. This will make them feel wanted and welcomed. It can be the best chance for you to spend time with them and convey your gratitude to them.
    5. Make an Effort: We have always heard "It's the effort that counts" because that is true. You might think it doesn't matter, but when you make an effort for someone, they remember it no matter how small that effort is. Give them a handmade card, write them a letter or buy them their favorite chocolate.
    6. Support And Encourage them - The best way to express your gratitude towards someone is by reciprocating their love and support. Encourage them in whatever things they do. Your support can help them achieve their desired goals, and there is no better way you can show your gratitude towards someone.
    7. Stay in TouchInstead of making grand gestures one day and forgetting someone, it is better to do the bare minimum of being in touch with them. Check up on them randomly, ask them how they are doing in life, and let them know that you are there for them.
    8. Help them whenever neededExtend your support beyond words. Stand next to them whenever they need you. From emotional to physical, you can help them in any form.
