    There are days when we, as parents, are unable to understand our kids and their choices. We find them strange and unusual. This is when the benefits of 'Conscious parenting' come into play.

    Yоu саn find аn infinite number оf раrenting tiрs оn the internet, but an increasing number of studies show that а sрeсifiс style of parenting consistently brings better results. This style оf раrenting is knоwn аs “Conscious раrenting.

    Conscious parenting encourages kid's development while having positive and personal relationships.

    • Helps kids find themselves: Kids should be allowed to open up about how they feel. This assists them in finding their true individuality. Conscious parents are mindful of their children’s feelings. The parents won't judge them for how they are, and they will not shy away from the choices their kids make and the way they express their feelings.
    • Raises child’s EQ: Kids with Higher Emotional quotient (EQ) can manage their negative emotions better. Understanding personal feelings also help kids to communicate effectively. Showing empathy and being all-around for your kids. It enables them to understand their feelings better.
    • Teaches kids positivity in conflict: Conflict is a natural and healthy process that doesn’t have to be confrontational. Conflicts are often aggressive, but it is supposed to be beneficial to know which ideas and emotions are better. It also helps parents and children validate their viewpoints.
    • Understand Kids better: Understanding between children and parents by making them comfortable through sharing vulnerable parts of themselves. It helps decrease feelings of stress and anxiety in parents and kids alike. Improves communication skills between family members.
    • Boosts relationship skills in kids: Conscious parenting can help children engage with family members more respectfully and comfortably. Adults are well equipped with language and conversation skills, but their children aren’t as versed. They can only grow these skills if they engage regularly and respectfully with adults right from early childhood.
    • Parents get closer with their kids: It helps to build mutually respectful relationships with their kids. Instead of banning tech devices in the home, parents should become good role models for their children. They play games together, set limits around technology & abide by the ground rules together.
