    2. Stay powerful with any audience - A growing professional public speaker has to deal with various audiences. Some are pessimistic; others are hecklers. As professionals, you must keep your head and dignity high. If there are negative connotations of the speech, try to be humble and calm.
    3. Choose the correct pattern - A speech is delivered in multiple ways. Once the main points are sorted down, you can choose various patterns to provide the speech as a professional public speaker. Spatial Pattern: Break down your main points into small thoughts and ideas. Chronological Pattern: It can help you to deliver a historical story from beginning to end. Casual Pattern: it helps in explaining cause and effect relationships. Comparison pattern: This organizes your speech into comparisons and differentiation between two objects.
    4. Inculcate signposts - A word within the speech itself that helps the audience understand the structure and meaning. Signposts make complex topics and ideas easy to understand. Like highways tell the drivers about the direction. Signposts are phrases such as (According to, for example, my second point is)
    5. Outline your speech - Speech outlines are of two types: Working outlines and speaking outlines. The working outline should include everything about the topic. Suggestions of outlining are - Attention grab, Thesis, Statement of problem, The credibility of the speaker, & Organized Main points and subpoints
    6. Avoid Stereotypes and Generalisation - Use unbiased and respectful language in the speeches. You want your lecture to be filled with facts and information. In times when the narration is going dull, a speaker often ends up saying general sentences. It harms your credibility.
    7. Use Gender-neutral references - You don't want to come out sexist, do you? Avoid gender-specific words and references. Words like Chairman, policeman and cleaning lady should be replaced, with Chairperson, police person and cleaner.
    8. Proxemics is vital - The space where you are delivering the speech needs to be utilized. A public speaker needs to build an intimate relationship with the audience. Moving towards the audience will help achieve this. It also creates a personal association.
    9. Use presentation aid - Presentation aids are texts, visuals, video, and audio that make the speech attractive. These aids can additionally help to simplify a complex message.
    10. Content is king - A professional public speaker wouldn't let his content fall in the massy category. The whistles and clappings are forgetful if the content spoken is cheap. Remember, content is the priority.
